Craftsmanship
Italian Craftsmanship, Reimagined
True luxury begins with materials and methods that have stood the test of time. Each SUDO Zurich bag is made in a Tuscan workshop using traditional Florentine leather techniques.
The bags are made from soft, durable Italian calfskin, selected for its natural grain and resilience. Before any color is applied, the leather undergoes gentle preparation to preserve its supple texture and ensure even dye absorption.
The leather is garment-dyed and washed — giving each piece its unique tone and texture. The dyeing uses natural tannins extracted from roots, bark, wood, fruits, and rhizomes — a plant-based method that honors tradition and protects the environment.
In the final stages, each bag is hand-finished: waxed and ironed by artisans to enhance softness and bring out the leather's natural depth.
Every bag is inspected at multiple stages — at the workshop and again before it reaches you.
