SU + DO
I am Suzana. My husband and co-founder is Domenico. SUDO is our two names, joined.
My wardrobe was full of bags. Not one of them was the right one.
I have loved bags since I was a teenager. I bought them everywhere. Cheap ones. Trendy ones. Lots of them.
Every year, the same thing happened. The edges cracked. The colour faded. The bag that looked perfect in the shop looked tired by spring.
And no beautiful bag was ever big enough. Phone, wallet, keys, a book, a make-up bag, a scarf. Always too many things.
I chose a career in healthcare because I love working with people and helping them. But my love for bags never left.
Today I work as a physiotherapist. So I notice how a bag feels, not only how it looks. Thin straps that cut in. Hard handles that hurt by evening.
One day I understood something. I didn’t have too few bags. I had too many bad ones.
The most expensive bag isn’t the one with the high price. It’s the one you replace every year.
Buy less. Choose well. Make it last.
I have always liked Italians.
And I found one from Tuscany. Domenico comes from the region where leather has been worked by hand and cherished for generations.
Coincidence? I don’t know. But I believe everything falls into place.
We dreamed of building something together, something we both love. So we did. In 2024, next to our regular jobs, SUDO was born.

Every person is unique. So are our bags.
Each bag is handcrafted in a small workshop in Tuscany. Soft Italian calfskin. After it is made, it is garment-dyed and washed using natural tannins extracted from plants. The colour settles a little differently every time.
No two are ever the same.
We choose every style ourselves, from a roomy tote to a backpack and a practical smaller pochette. Made for real life. Made to be carried for years. And if something ever needs fixing, we repair it for life.
These are the bags I was looking for all those years.
